Club 45 is for 4th and 5th graders. Fourth and fifth graders are not little kids anymore, but they're also not quite teenagers. Club 45 gives our tweens a place to ask questions, explore the Bible and discover God on their own, build stronger relationships with God, each other, and adult mentors. Club 45 helps build a bridge into our youth ministry which begins in 6th grade. Club 45 meets on the last Sunday of the month from 4:30pm to 6pm. Enter from the alley and go between the old office building into the old portion of the preschool building.
Kids' in Christ Kingdom, a.k.a. K.I.C.K., activities make up Sierra Vista’s mid-week program – a program that is available for any child, kindergarten through 5th grade. KICK Kids participate in active Bible study, recreation, creative arts, and mission projects, as well as children’s choir. KICK kids are also those who provide the annual Children’s Christmas Program, as well as a Children-Led Worship in late April.
Parents need to make sure that they have completed current registration for all children and should plan to sign their children in and out of the KICK program in Sierra Vista’s Life Center Gym.
KICK is scheduled from mid-September through the end of April, excluding school holidays, and runs from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday.
After-school pick-up is available at Bonham, Lamar, Fort Concho, Santa Rita and Wall Elementary Schools. Parents who want their children to ride the Sierra Vista bus need to complete the transportation portion during registration.
Adult volunteers are welcomed & encouraged to participate!

At Sierra Vista UMC, our goal is to provide a safe, warm, and loving environment for our youngest members so that their parents and caregivers can worship and learn without worry. In our efforts to maintain this goal, we utilize paid, trained staff in our nursery area. Our nursery workers are experienced in caring for children of all ages. In addition, our nursery workers are First Aid/CPR certified and have also completed the Safe Gatherings training.
Nursery services are provided for both Sunday services, the Sunday School hour, and the Saturday night service. During the Sunday School hour, all children are brought together for an age appropriate worship time with snacks, stories, songs, crafts and prayer. Snacks are provided unless you prefer to provide your own.
Nursery can also be provided during other church events upon request. The ages for nursery participation are birth through preschool-4 on Saturdays and Sundays, and birth through age 10 for all other events. For more information, or to request nursery services, you can contact Jennifer Hedges at nursery@sierravista.org or at (325)-212-4687
